At this time the MVRR only owned No. 8, a 300HL GE which replaced 0-4-0 No. 6 in 1951. 0-6-0 No. 7 was retained as a stand-by for a time but was scrapped leaving No.8 as the sole engine until No. 9 was purchased,in 1962. |
