This is Instruction car B5. Diagrams don't have a history for the car.

GN #B-5 was built in 1916 by Pullman as the RANSFORD, a 16 section (16S) sleeper, in Lot #4386 to Plan #2412F. In 1935, the RANSFORD was converted to a lower-fare "Tourist Car" to Plan #2412U. Tourist Cars carried numbers rather than names, the RANSFORD was initially #4028, and was later renumbered to #6080. The #6080 was sold to GN in 1953, and the conversion to rules instruction car #B-5 was completed in 1955.
