CSS 2-D-D-2 #801 & 803 - Chicago, South Shore & South Bend
Two of the three "Little Joes" were caught by an avid fan listed only as BH on the photo while the two were sitting in the Michicgan City shops area. The South Shore Line called these bi-directional units "800's" rather than "Little Joes" which referred to the Joseph Stalin order to GE for them but fell through because of political reasons. #803 is preserved at the Illinois Rwy Museum while #801 fell to the scrapper's torch in the 1980's.
