PC 4265, E8A, 1968         
DMP-2. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Lima, Ohio, in May of 1968. Shown here (L to R) is Penn Central engine #4265 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are E8A's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #4265 was built as Pennsylvania Railroad number "5765" in March of 1952 and renumbered "4265" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger.
