| This was one of the steerable trucks under Canadian Pacific AC4400CW 9543 without traction motors, and without a center axle. The locomotive had been sent to the Wabtec-GE plant in Fort Worth to be modernized into an AC4400CWM, but it just had its traction motors removed by CP to repair other locomotives. The railroad harvested the motors from at least a dozen units and trucked the motor-axle combos back to Canada. |
