Cool album. I will have to seek this place out next time I'm in town. I've seen the BNSF there numerous times-it's quite a show-but never thought of the NOKL. Liked the shot of the MKT station. If you don't have it, get a copy of Don Hofsommer's book "Katy Northwest" which details the history of the WF&NW. I'm not surprised there are more NOKL cars than Rock Island. The Rock has been gone over 35 years, and except for some cars still kicking around on UP-precious few, I would guess-there are almost none left, and as far as I know, no one is using the reporting marks. Before much longer, the Rock will exist only as a herald on some old stations in the midwest. Too bad.
