Number 543 was built to USRA design specifications in 1919 by Brooks (Alco) (c/n 61236) and sold for scrap in August 1956. The location is likely Beardstown, based on the March 1, 1955 CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet. For the record, Waycar 13879 was built by CB&Q's Aurora, Illinois Shops in December, 1917 and burned at East Saint Louis, Illinois on July 31, 1960. |
