| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad F3 134D at Clyde, Illinois on March 14, 1965, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler.. Thhs locomotive was built in November 1948 (c/n 7015) on EMD Order E957A as the trailing cab of locomotive 134, an A-B-B-A set of F3's semi-permanently coupled. The duawbars were replaced with couplers and the suffix letters were added to the numberboards beginning in the 1950's. This locomotive was traded to EMD for credit on an order of GP40's during December 1966. |
