Great CNJ action! The area at BANK Tower is where the Southern Division began.

By 1981 the near diamond and switch had been removed, and the northbound track stubbed just beyond the tower. By then, there was not much freight on the line, but the train watching on the Long Branch to Bay Head was pretty good. Lots of E's and GP40P's.
