| Album Info: | In scanning my old Kodachrome slides, I came across a handful of shots of some of the regional rail operations that came and went in the aftermath of Illinois Central Gulf's dissolution. While the railroads included here are not all of the spinoffs, they are at least a decent representation. Unfortunately, all of these photos were taken at a time when I was beginning to drift away from the railfanning hobby. As such, my record keeping was pretty shoddy and the dates and locations of these photos are all rather suspect. If you see anything that doesn't look right, call it out -- there is a good chance you may be correct. |
