Album Info: | Another beautifully restored steam engine at the 2011 Rock Island Train Festival is this Baldwin tank switcher built in 1924 (construction # 57994) and rebuilt from 2004-2007 by Scott Symans and friends. The engine was orginally built for the American Viscose Company of Roanoke, VA but sold to the Gem City Iron & Metal Company in Pulaski, VA before being purchased by Scott Symans in September of 2004. |
