| Album Info: | On Wednesday May 12th me and fellow RRPA contributor Ant Davis made a trip to shoot the Sandersville Railroad. The railroad serves the large kaolin mines around Sandersville and as such is the states, and one of the countrys most profitable shortline, with large amounts of industry in it short 5 mile route. The railroad is very effiiciently run, with switching done in a precise and swift manner that would put a class 1 to shame. This is one railroad you cannot mess around while shooting, if you blink the train will be all the way to the other end of the line before you know it. |
