Album Info: | Most of the photographs shown here are taken from the Union Pacific's historic Union Depot, in downtown Ogden, Utah. I have>included a few 'older' cars that I have found in my travels, whereas they fit better here in this historical setting. If the Location is not Ogden . . . they were taken as noted. It is good to see the Union Pacific so active in donating engines and!such, to historical safe houses. I am so happy they have even what few pieces they do. One of the 'bad' things of this collection is that they are grouped to tigjtly that one can not get a 'proper' photograph of many of the display items- Also there is a nice metal fence that goes around the display that keep them safe, but just does not lend themselves to proper photography. Shooting through the 'prison bars' is just not something I am likely to do. So as good or bad as they are, lighting being most difficult, this is my collection of shots from the Ogden Union Pacific Depot. |
