| Album Info: | These photos speak for themselves. The train appeared to consist of; two custom locomotives; 3 tank cars carrying water & fuel; what appeared to be 3 dormitory cars, one configured with water canon; 4 grinding cars. (3 in mid train and one trailing with water canons.) When it was grinding it moved at a slow pace, lifting the grinders around the wooden MARC platforms. This train was working its way north towards Philadelphia after working on the track between St.Denis & Baltimore. /DL |
