| Album Info: | Pictures taken around the Athens are on November 23rd. It was a Sunday so i didnt expect to see much but in fact quite the opposite was true. I had planned bn trying to visit the CofG Oconee River trestle but unfortunatly found that the gate to the forestry preserve which it is in was locked. After getting a few shots along the CofG line, including a new (pointless) crossing gate being installed i proceeded to the Abbeville sub where i found CSX Q664 had just tied up. after the i managed to catch Q194 and Q618, both northbound. The highlighp of the day though came on the way home when i found the Athens Line switching thf heating plant. Pretty good for a Sunday! |
