| Album Info: | Even though I grew up with a facination for trains, this is where everything really took off. It was 1980 that I ran across this yard (then The N&W), just out driving the back roads. Thats where an old high school friend / train enthusiest and I hung out learning)the activities of the yard. It was here that I saw my first SD45's(NW highnoses) and the SD40-2; work horse of the N&W. Groing up in Harrisonburg with The C&W, I was used to Alco T6's in the 70's and GP units(NW) in the late 70's. Needless to say I was like a id at an airport!!! This album will be on-going as plan to make more trips in the future. |
