Album Info:The legendary Echo Canyon. In the 1940's & 1950's, it was a magnet for railfans wanting to photograph the Challengers & Big Boys. In the 1950's and 1960's the Turbines were the attraction. In the 1960's and 1970's it was the double diesel DD35's and DD40AX's. I lived in Northern Utah in the late 1980's through 1997. The Salt Lake Sub was always fun to photograph: double track, slow frequent trains, fantastic scenery, tunnels and a variety of locomotives.
