Description:  Note the "air conditioning" on this hot August day - both doors open. Makes it easy to go from one to the other too! The new turnout from the EJE mainline to the CN mainline can just be seem to the front left of the lead unit This must be a new "lay of the land" for these two returning units.

Description:  Green Bay to Stevens Point train caught running through the fromer CNW Appleton yard. As usual, a second unit is on the rear of the train. The placement of the second unit on the rear allows the CN to avoid a run around move at Neenah. This method was brought into practice by the Wisconsin Central after it bought the FRV.

Description:  EJE 672 leads CN A416 back into Neenah which caught me by suprise as I was heading out this way to catch the next WB frieght. CN 5520 was working the tail section for this reverse move into Neenah prior to leading this train back north to Green Bay following the high-green for a crossover.

From its founding in 1883 until 26 Jun. '13, the massive paper mill was Thilmany Pulp and Paper Co. (a.k.a. Thilmany, LLC or Thilmany Papers). The rubble in the foreground is the remnants of the old Thilmany mill, which was mostly demolished in 2013. Part of the original mill was saved and will be restored.

The rubble in the foreground is the remnants of the old Thilmany mill, which was mostly demolished in 2013. Part of the original mill was saved, partially visible to right, and will be restored. The bridge was built by American Bridge Co. of New York in 1911.
