WSOR 4007 flies through with a local bound for Bardwell |
Description: |
This train was going by the symbol Y302 on the radio, which is a Janesville yard job. This move would be more typical of L351, the usual Elkhorn branch job. |

WSOR 4007 is, incredibly, now part of an endangered species |
Description: |
I must have caught this locomotive leading six times in as many months when I first started railfanning the WSOR back in 2007. I was getting frustrated because I wanted to expand my roster! Now the WSOR SD40-2s are being relettered and numbered into the WAMX roster by parent company Watco. They will, thankfully, retain their red and gray paint and goose logo. |
